A little over a year ago I was informed that my grandparents needed help. Help may have been an understatement, they needed someone to live with them and take care of the odds and ends they shouldn't be doing. The result, since no one else wanted help, was me moving 800 miles away from all Nowmy friends, my job and my fantastic little apartment. I now reside in Richwood, New Jersey.
Some people could have looked at this in a very gray dim light, which sometimes I still do, but it's really a great opportunity. Even though I have a full time job, which I don't have to have, I'm making this little adventure into being about all those things I've missed out on in the last 15 years. My favorite hobbies, places I've wanted to see, goals I'd been hoping to accomplish that kept being set aside. Here I go, into a world of sewing, knitting, running, photography, guitars, cooking, baking, reading and well anything else I'm dead set on doing.
There are a few things I'm going to try not to do here:
1. Complain about work (after all, I don't HAVE to work, that's what facebook is for anyway.)
2. Not finish my goals once started. I'm one of those people who has 5 or 6 projects going on at the same time, sometimes it takes awhile, but I'm hoping to accomplish those projects at some point in time.
3. Forget about this.
Welcome to my own little world of accomplishment.
