just a few fears to conquor.

Now that I have some spare time, well an afternoon, I've taken some time to conquor a few of my sewing fears.

1. I do not like working on sheer fabrics, especially making semi-structured garments.
2. Tailoring. It's annoying. I did it for a living for a bit, not my favorite thing.
3. Buttons holes, specifically on fabrics that have little structure to them.

So, I'm making a shirt (with the help of a pattern) out of some fabric I purchased a few years ago. It seems to have turned out pretty well, just need buttons! I'm thinking of maybe using snaps because it'll suite the garment better.
